Our ground rules
Private introductions.
Shared respect.
Privacy and choice make a good beginning. These shared expectations help keep D8 thoughtful, useful, and respectful.
- 01
Be an adult, and treat people like adults.
D8 is for people aged 18 and older. Speak with respect. No harassment, hateful speech, threats, or degrading comments about a person or group.
- 02
Be yourself, honestly.
Use accurate details and your own words. Don’t impersonate another person, misrepresent your intentions, or submit an invented identity.
- 03
Keep other people’s lives private.
Leave out names, handles, phone numbers, faces, and identifying details. Don’t share private messages without permission. Invitations restrict access, but members can still copy what they see.
- 04
A boundary is a complete answer.
No advice that pressures, deceives, stalks, or manipulates someone. Respect rejection. This is a place for honest connection, not tactics that take away someone else’s choice.
- 05
Keep a connection for conversation.
No spam, unsolicited promotion, explicit sexual content, or requests for money. Only use the private conversation after both people accept. There is no public member directory.
- 06
Know who is speaking.
Introductions connect members, rather than AI characters. The private reply coach uses AI and is clearly identified. Its suggestions can miss context; your judgment matters.
- 07
Choose whether to continue.
Use Report on a connected introduction when something concerns you. Use Block to close the connection and stop its private conversation. Private messages are checked before they are sent. You can also send a privacy request or moderation appeal from your dashboard, through our contact form, or by email to ceo@danger.tech.
- 08
Choose what you share.
Your introduction profile stays private until you both accept. At that point, your display name, age, region, and chosen summary are shared with the connection. Private messages are stored and processed by our AI provider for moderation. You can pause introductions or delete your account. Private reply coaching stays separate. Read the privacy notice for the details.
Both people choose.
Respect that choice.
